‘Flight’ wooden cutting board/charcuterie board

Much time and effort went into creating this eternal chase scene onto the Cherry board you see before you. The stealthy flight and intense focus of the owl,  the furtive flight of the mouse in its almost futile effort to escape, all the while trying to convey this in as few lines as possible, required extra attention from the artist.

The Owl represents wisdom and intuition to Indigenous peoples, while the little field mouse is believed to impart wisdom and guidance to those who seek it.  Much can be learned by studying the works of the Creator, including the owl and the mouse.

This artwork has been laser-etched onto a beautiful Cherrywood cutting and serving board, featuring a classic, simple design with a beautiful, central, hand-carved handle. You can cut food on one side and display this beautiful Gannet artwork on the other. It will make a perfect addition to your kitchen or dining room.
