Amour Bath Salt Soak

Ingredients:

Epsom Salt: This traditional bath salt helps to melt away muscle tension while relaxing and restoring the body. Due to it’s high magnesium content, epsom salt helps to reduce pain and swelling, enhance exercise performance and recovery, and improve sleep quality.

Himalayan Sea Salt: Harvested from the mineral-rich salt range in Pakistan, this gorgeous pink salt is mined, crushed, washed, and dried by hand so as to preserve traditional methods and lessen the carbon footprint of harvesting. Our salt is sustainably sourced and naturally contains over 80 different minerals that are necessary for health, including macrominerals like calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium as well as many trace minerals. These minerals, when absorbed through the skin, help to balance the body’s pH, support proper nutrient absorption, eliminate toxins, and increase circulation.

Dead Sea Salt: Harvested from the saltiest ocean on earth, this sea salt is highly revered for its abundance of minerals (almost 10x more than any other sea salt!). It has been shown to reduce inflammation, replenish skin hydration, eliminate toxins, and improve skin barrier function. We use it in our bath salt blends for its ability to reduce the deepest of aches and pains, ease skin flare-ups, fight off free radicals, and gently exfoliate dead skin cells.

Ylang Ylang EO (Cananga odorata)*: Often used to decorate the bed of newlyweds on their wedding night, this incredibe Indonesian flower is a well-known natural aphrodisiac and energy-booster. Its deeply sweet, rich scent is known to enhance mood, reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure, and relax the mind.

Ho Wood EO (Cinnnamomum camphora linaloliferum)*: For those who may be unfamiliar with it, ho wood has a scent reminiscent of sandalwood, and is subtly floral, woody, and camphorous. It is thought to bring love, harmony, and abundance into your life, all while boosting immunity, calming the mind, and soothing the skin.

Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum)*: As romantic as a flower can be, jasmine is hand-picked at night, when the flowers bloom and are at their most potent. It is a richly-scented blossom, with a sweet, powdery,  fruity, and slightly musky scent, which many consider to be almost intoxicating. Jasmine can lower stress and anxiety levels, reduce headaches and PMS, and increase energy levels while simultaneously ensuring a deep and restful sleep. It also encourages a healthy libido, promoting deep feelings of love and desire.

Patchouli EO (Pogostemon cablin)*: Patchouli is a naturally musky, earthy, woody, sweet scent which can help lower anxiety and depression, enhance the mood, encourage sensuality, and promote feelings of deep peace and groundedness. Its musky profile is often associated with lust, desire, and even natural human pheromones! It works to stimulate testosterone and estrogen in both sexes, providing a natural boost to the libido and helping to ‘set the mood’.
