Vendor Biography
I live in Southwestern Ontario and I was bitten by the polymer clay bug over 15 years ago. Having never looked back, I have been developing and honing my skills, continually learning. Polymer clay is a malleable multi-coloured material which allows me to create small caricatures, quirky animal ornaments, keepsake boxes, kitchenware, vases, as well as beautiful earrings.
The majority of the colouring that you see in my pieces are from the clay itself, whether it’s direct from a package or colours I have mixed. Polymer clay is not food safe, but can be washed – hence I decorate the outside of glass bowls, then sand the polymer to a bright shine, making it appear that the patterns on the bowls are made of glass.
