Sweet Dreams Bath Salt Soak

Ingredients:

Epsom Salt: This traditional bath salt helps to melt away muscle tension while relaxing and restoring the body. Due to it’s high magnesium content, epsom salt helps to reduce pain and swelling, enhance exercise performance and recovery, and improve sleep quality.

Himalayan Sea Salt: Harvested from the mineral-rich salt range in Pakistan, this gorgeous pink salt is mined, crushed, washed, and dried by hand so as to preserve traditional methods and lessen the carbon footprint of harvesting. Our salt is sustainably sourced and naturally contains over 80 different minerals that are necessary for health, including macrominerals like calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium as well as many trace minerals. These minerals, when absorbed through the skin, help to balance the body’s pH, support proper nutrient absorption, eliminate toxins, and increase circulation.

Dead Sea Salt: Harvested from the saltiest ocean on earth, this sea salt is highly revered for its abundance of minerals (almost 10x more than any other sea salt!). It has been shown to reduce inflammation, replenish skin hydration, eliminate toxins, and improve skin barrier function. We use it in our bath salt blends for its ability to reduce the deepest of aches and pains, ease skin flare-ups, fight off free radicals, and gently exfoliate dead skin cells.

Lavender EO (Lavandula angustifolia)*: Lavender essential oil has been proven to enhance mood, combat stress and fatigue, and relieve muscle tension. It is one of the choice oils for preparing the body for rest – all the more reason to indulge in an evening bath before bed!

Peppermint EO (Mentha piperita)*: Peppermint essential oil helps to clear and refresh the mind, gently preparing your brain and body for sleep. Peppermint also helps to open the nasal passages, clearing up any congestion which may hinder a good night’s rest.

Vetiver EO (Vetiveria zizanoides)*: Often referred to as the “oil of tranquility”, this incredibly grounding and calming essential oil helps to bring the body and mind to a deep state of relaxation in preparation for sleep. Vetiver is often used to diffuse feelings of anger, tension, anxiety, and stress, making it the perfect oil to inhale before bed.

Spanish Marjoram EO (Thymus mastichina)*: Spanish marjoram essential oil works to calm hyperactivity, ease colds and headaches, and relieve muscle tension. This oil works wonders to reduce feelings of anxiety, nervousness, and depression – allowing the mind to wind down and relax in preparation for a good night’s rest.

German Chamomile EO (Matricaria chamomilla)*: German chamomile produces a gentle yet powerful essential oil which helps to relieve joint and muscle pain, headaches, indigestion, and even acne! It is naturally high in apigenin – a phytochemical which binds to the brain receptors responsible for inducing sleep. Inhaling and bathing in this oil helps to relax the body and prepare for a long and restful sleep.
